Zachery Powell, 25, of Streator, was picked up on a La Salle County warrant for failure to appear (theft) at 6:32 p.m. Monday at 204 S. Bloomington St., Streator police said.
Emily J. Hanson, 27, of Cherry, was charged with DUI, improper lane usage and no insurance at 2:23 a.m. Tuesday Plank Road and Ladd Road, Peru police said.
Dorian C. James, 44, of Streator, was cited on two incidents Monday, one at Nebraska and Post streets on complaints of driving while license revoked and obstructing ID, and another on the 2100 block of Somerset Drive on a complaint of criminal trespass to state supported property, Ottawa police said.
Craig A. Shymanski, 46, of Ottawa, was cited Monday at the Ottawa Police Department on complaints of failure to give info after striking an unattended vehicle or property, failure to report an accident to police authority, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and improper lane usage, Ottawa police said.
District 17 state police in La Salle announced a series of specialty patrols to be held in May in La Salle County. State police will conduct occupant restraint enforcement patrols and special traffic patrols to enforce the use of seat belts. The agency also will conduct nighttime enforcement patrols from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. and alcohol countermeasure enforcement surveys to address impairment and occupant-restraint violations common during the overnight hours. Finally, troopers will conduct roadside safety checks.
