Villa was taken to La Salle County Jail.
Matthew Hammer, 37, of Dalzell, was cited 7 a.m. Tuesday following a two-vehicle crash at U.S. 6 and Route 178 in North Utica Township on a complaint of failure to yield at an intersection, the La Salle County Sheriff’s Office said. Deputies said Hammer was eastbound on U.S. 6 and attempted to turn north onto Route 178. Hammer failed to stop at the traffic control device and struck a southbound vehicle on Route 178 driven by Chad Terry, 46, of Seneca.
James Geringer, 31, of Minonk, was cited 1:42 a.m. Wednesday in Groveland Township on a complaint of driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle, the La Salle County Sheriff’s Office said.
Taylor Sterling, 19, of Plainfield, was cited 3:51 p.m. Wednesday following a two-vehicle crash at East Eighth Road and North 33rd Road in Waltham Township on a complaint of failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, the La Salle County Sheriff’s Office said. Deputies said Sterling was westbound on North 33rd Road and failed to yield at the intersection with East Eighth Road. Her vehicle struck a northbound vehicle driven by Amy Rissman, 34, of Mendota. No injuries were reported.
Brittany A. Tidback, 29, homeless, was charged with criminal trespass to a residence in the 100 block of West Second Street at 9:35 a.m. April 10, Spring Valley police said.
Raymond Kunkel, 95, of Granville, was charged with leaving the scene of a property damage accident, no valid driver’s license, no valid registration, failure to reduce speed to avoid accident, failure to report accident to police authority, fleeing or attempting to elude police officer and improper lighting/one headlamp in the intersection of Spalding and Caroline streets at 7:50 p.m. April 11, Spring Valley police said.
