• Troy A. Lanham, 41, homeless, was picked up on a La Salle County warrant for failure to appear (trespass) at 2:57 p.m. Sunday at the Public Action to Deliver Shelter, Peru police said.
• Brandon A. Pinedo-Sandoval, 18, of Sublette, was charged with speeding, no insurance and unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor at 9:48 p.m. Saturday at Shooting Park Road and Sycamore Street, Peru police said.
• Joshua W. Alexander, 33, of La Salle, was charged with driving while license revoked and no insurance at 10:15 a.m. Saturday at Shooting Park and Airport roads, Peru police said.
• Oglesby police are investigating the theft of tires, valued at $8,000, from a semitruck parked overnight outside Best Western, which was reported at 8:23 a.m. Sunday, police said.
• A 4-year-old started a car and backed into another vehicle at 8:18 a.m. Saturday at 641 W. Walnut St., Oglesby police said. There were no injuries; the child freed himself from the vehicle and was returned to his mother.
• Samantha Davis, 30, of Streator, was picked up on a La Salle County warrant for failure to appear (driving while license suspended) at 8:06 p.m. Sunday at her residence, Streator police said.
