Streator police investigating early-morning gunfire; no injuries reported

Streator police are investigating an early Saturday incident in which a house was struck with gunfire. There were no injuries.

Police were alerted to the discharge at 3:20 a.m. to the 100 block of East 10th Street for a residence being struck by gunfire. A vehicle was subsequently stopped in probable connection to the shooting, police said, but the investigation is pending.
