Illinois Valley Community College’s first “Show and Enroll” is 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, at the college’s Ottawa Center, 321 W. Main St.

Students can apply, register, speak with a counselor and, if necessary, a financial aid representative, said IVCC Director of Admissions and Transfer Services Tom Quigley.

Every enrollee will receive a $100 IVCC bookstore gift card and students enrolling in at least six credit hours are eligible for Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund assistance.

Those taking 12 or more hours will receive $1,000; those in 6-to-11, $500. Payments will be made after April 7.

In addition, this spring, high school students enrolled in all IVCC dual credit and some dual enrollment courses will have tuition waived.

“Show and Enroll is an opportunity for students to select and register for spring classes and discover all their options in one night,” said Quigley.

Spring semester classes begin Jan. 10. For information on Show and Enroll, call 815-224-0800.
