A Seneca woman was ticketed Tuesday afternoon for colliding with a school bus with eight children aboard, La Salle County Sheriff’s Office said, though no injuries were reported.

Debra Breyne, 60, of Seneca, was charged with improper lane use following the crash reported at 3:56 p.m. Tuesday at 18th Avenue and Center Street in Ottawa Township. There, deputies said Breyne was stopped in the middle of two lanes at the intersection, resulting in a collision when the rear left corner of the bus struck the rear left corner of Breyne’s vehicle.

Neither Breyne nor the buss driver, Michelle Martin, of Ottawa, were injured. The sheriff’s office said eight children were aboard but none of them were injured, either.
