Library announces its schedule of events for week of Sept. 27

The following events are scheduled for the week of Sept. 27 at Reddick Library, 1010 Canal St., Ottawa. Call 815-434-0509 for more information.

6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 27: Crafter Hours (adults). In-person Crafter Hours classes are back. The library will be making spider web wreaths for Halloween. Registration is required as supplies are limited. To reserve a spot for this class, call the library or stop at the from circulation desk.

4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 27: Minute to Win It (kindergarten to second grade). The library will have some fun challenges to celebrate going back to school.

6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28: The Life of Orson Welles by Storyteller Tricia Kelly. While much has been written about Orson Welles, very few people actually knew him. Storyteller and history enthusiast Tricia Kelly will attempt to pull the truth from the legend that is Orson Welles.

1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30: Chair Yoga. Chair yoga exercise classes are back. Everyone is welcome to join Yoga Instructor Dianne Nudo Mostek for free yoga sessions incorporating gentle chair-based poses.

5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30: Tween Scene (third through fifth grades). Take a break from schoolwork and join us for board games and card games.

6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30: Game Night (sixth through eighth grades). Take a break from schoolwork and join Cards Against Humanity: Family Edition.

7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30: Game Night (ninth through 12th grades). Take a break from schoolwork and join Cards Against Humanity: Family Edition.
