1000 block of Post Street in Ottawa will close Tuesday

Brick street will be replaced, curb and gutter installed

Street work is expected to begin 7 a.m. Tuesday, June 22, in the 1000 block of Post Street between East Lafayette and Washington streets in Ottawa.

The work to replace the brick street and install curb and gutter is expected to take about three weeks to complete. During that time, the block will be closed at all times to local and through traffic.

Drivers needing to travel in the area while construction is in progress are reminded to use caution and allow extra time to get to destinations.
