Congressman Adam Kinzinger will be on “The View,” Wednesday morning

U.S. Rep. to talk about ‘why he’s fighting for the future of the GOP’

U.S. Rep. Adam Kinzinger, R-Channahon

U.S. Rep. Adam Kinzinger is continuing his national campaign Wednesday morning, this time he’s set to appear at about 10:25 a.m. on ABC’s “The View.”

The View’s Twitter account announced Kinzinger will join them live “to talk about his battle within the Republican party and why he’s fighting for the future of the GOP.” Kinzinger’s Communications Director Maura Gillespie also confirmed the congressman will appear on the show.

Kinzinger (R-Channahon) announced Sunday he is launching a campaign and new PAC to steer the Republican party away from the recent politics of former President Donald Trump in the wake of the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. Kinzinger was one of 10 Republicans to vote in favor of Trump’s second impeachment.

Add the morning show hosted by Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin, Meghan McCain and Ana Navarro to the list of national media appearances since Kinzinger has been outspoken about accepting November’s election results and rejecting conspiracy theories.
