Seneca High School honors 4 teens as March students of the month

Seneca High School teachers and staff selected four students to honor as March students of the month.

Emelia Traina, Student of the Month: Emelia is the daughter of Cheri and Dan Traina of Marseilles. She plans to attend Iowa State University to study environmental science. She is active in Spanish Club, National Honor Society, FFA and Scholastic Bowl.

Marie Cheshareck, Role Model of the Month: Marie is the daughter of Kathy and Robert Cheshareck of Seneca. She plans to pursue a degree in architectural studies, minoring in military science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and becoming a commissioned officer in the Army. She is active in volleyball, cross country, basketball, track and field, NHS, FCA, WYSE/ACES, Spanish Club, Student Ambassador, TSA and CIA.

Brooke Roseland, Most Improved Student of the Month: Brooke is the daughter of Bill and Andrea Roseland of Seneca. She plans to attend a four-year university majoring in kinesiology in hopes of becoming a physical therapist. She is active in basketball, volleyball, FCA, FCCLA, Art Club, Spanish Club, student officer, Student Ambassador, Drama Club and TRUST.

Jolena Odum, Rookie of the Month: Jolena is the daughter of Kelly and Alby Odum of Seneca. She is active in basketball, volleyball, track and field, FCA, Art Club, Spanish Club, TRUST and band. In her free time she enjoys drawing, reading and hanging out with her friends.
