Rural Ottawa man arrested after investigation of Nov. 17 burglary

Sheriff’s Office says suspect entered Fall River Township residence, took items from inside

A 34-year-old rural Ottawa man was arrested Tuesday after a La Salle County Sheriff’s Office investigation into a burglary Nov. 17 in Fall River Township.

Deputies said a resident in Fall River Township located Justin T. Boyd inside of his house when he arrived home on Nov. 17. An investigation found Boyd had entered the residence and took items from inside, the sheriff’s office said.

Boyd was taken to the La Salle County Jail where he is being held on $25,000 bond with 10% to apply.
