Three people charged in a July 7 raid of a suspected drug den were indicted Tuesday on felony drug charges.
A La Salle County grand jury convened Tuesday and indicted Kasie E. Saunders, 48, of La Salle (also listed in Decatur), and Barbara A. King, 44, of La Salle, on multiple counts of possession and/or delivery of a controlled substance. Each faces up to 15 years in prison.
Additionally, Kaitlyn M. Forrest, 26, of La Salle (also listed in Spring Valley), was indicted on unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.
All were ordered held on $500,000 bond after a search warrant was executed at Saunders’ residence by multiple agencies including La Salle police and the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team.
The grand jury also two men accused of robbing three pedestrians on June 27 on Ottawa’s south side.
Ellias J. Ochoa, 25) of Ottawa, and John P. Parker, 27, of Sandwich, both were indicted on three counts of robbery, all Class 2 felonies carrying 3-7 years in prison. Bond was set at $100,000.
Also indicted Tuesday were: Sierra Johnson Crump, 26, of Sauk Village (unlawful possession of a controlled substance); Justin Holofchak, 25, of Streator (unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver); Lawrence Baker, 52, of Ocean Springs, Miss. (two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse); Steven Gregorash, 64, of Mendon, Mich. (unlawful possession of methamphetamine); Raven Watson, 28, of La Salle (theft); Dean Szobar, 31, of Ottawa (retail theft); Janel Sanders, 39, of Aurora (unlawful possession of a controlled substance); Daisy Calderon, 26, of Aurora (unlawful possession of a controlled substance); Felicia Hackbarth, 35, of Ottawa (unlawful possession of methamphetamine); Maurice Lord, 23, of Chicago (obstructing justice); Deonta D. Harding, 25, of Chicago (unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver); Brian Lopez, 45, of Ottawa (two counts of aggravated DUI); Jesika Muzzarelli, 27, of Ottawa (unlawful delivery of a controlled substance); Shane Britt, 25, of Marseilles (unlawful delivery of a controlled substance); Clint Cavanaugh, 39, of Ottawa (three counts of criminal damage to government property); Patrick H. Thomas, 38, of Tonica (new counts: unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver; unlawful possession of sativa plants); Antwaun Bell, 32, homeless (violating the sex offender registry act); Robert Streadwick, 40, of Yorkville (aggravated fleeing and eluding; driving while revoked).
