A hearing originally set for Friday in Utica on a CBD retailer that allegedly sold products to minors has been indefinitely postponed. Utica officials said they hope to reschedule it for July.
The CBD Joint, 723 S. Clark St., recently had its license suspended and now awaits a hearing on whether it misused its village-issued business license. A report was tendered to the La Salle County State’s Attorney’s Office; State’s Attorney Todd Martin confirmed the matter is under investigation.
An attorney for the CBD Joint said they would have no public comments about the matter before the hearing takes place.
