The Queen Bee is opening Saturday, May 22, in downtown Streator.
The home goods, décor and gift shop, at 212 E. Main St., Suite 2, is family-owned and operated. The grand opening Saturday is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The business is opening in the same building as More of Me clothing boutique.

Streator Aldi set to reopen
The Streator Aldi, 1725 N. Bloomington St., will have completed its renovations Thursday, May 20.
The updated Streator store made changes including: refrigeration to accommodate an expanded fresh, healthy and convenient food selection, environmentally-friendly building materials such as recycled materials, energy-saving refrigeration and LED lighting.
In addition to the new store look, the location will hire two additional employees.

Rezin Orthopedics and Sports Medicine teams up with Morris Hospital
The Rezin Orthopedics and Sports Medicine group is in the process of finalizing an agreement with Morris Hospital and Healthcare Centers, tentatively scheduled for early June.
The practice’s name will be changing to Morris Hospital Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, but the physicians, office locations and phone numbers will remain the same. Locations are at 1051 W. U.S. 6, Suite 100, in Morris; 1306 Gemini Circle, Suite 2, in Ottawa; and 1310 Houbolt Road in Joliet.
