Another sign spring is near: Time-Out Ice Cream in Streator will reopen Saturday.
The ice cream shop is located at 915 E. Main St.
The Big Dipper, 1901 S. Bloomington St., Streator, and Tone’s Cones, 523 W. Main St., Ottawa, have not announced their opening dates yet. Tone’s Cones has a sign on its window asking anyone interested in getting a summer job at the ice cream shop to apply by March 15.
The seasonal Dairy Queen in Streator reopened in February.
Third Friday artisan markets will be back
Mark your calendars for April 16, May 21, June 18, July 16, Aug. 20 and Sept. 17 – Ottawa’s Third Friday artisan markets will be back in 2021.
Third Friday is an arts, culture and entertainment event in downtown Ottawa that takes place every third Friday of the month beginning late spring. Art vendors, music, food and live events take place at Open Space Gallery, CatsEye Wine Bar and City Folk Urban Decor.
