Crash reported on Interstate 80 near La Salle

Utica fire and EMS and Illinois State Police work the scene of a single-vehicle crash in the median on Interstate 80 near mile post 82 in the westbound lane. La Salle, and Peru were also dispatched to the scene but were called off. The accident happened about 4:45 p.m. on Friday Feb. 26, 2021. (Scott Anderson)

There was a two-vehicle crash reported before 5 p.m. Friday on Interstate 80 heading westbound near La Salle.

Motorists should avoid driving in the area until the accident scene is cleared.
