Livingston County coronavirus update: 2 die from complications related to COVID-19

County has had 65 COVID-related deaths since the start of the virus

A Livingston County man in his 70s and a woman in her 90s died from complications related to COVID-19.

There have been 65 COVID-related deaths in Livingston County since the beginning of the pandemic.

Additionally, 87 Livingston County residents and two inmates at Pontiac Correctional Center tested positive for COVID-19.

As of Friday, the Livingston County Health Department has received 58,679 COVID-19 test results. Of those, 3,762 COVID-19 tests have been positive, 3,461 individuals have been removed from isolation and 236 cases remain active.

Drive-thru COVID-19 testing is available weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to noon in the parking lot of OSF St. James – John W. Albrecht Medical Center, located along Route 116 just west of Interstate 55 in Pontiac. All testing is free. Insurance is not required to be tested; however, if you have insurance, bring your card to your testing appointment.
