No injuries after vehicle strikes Wallace school bus

A 65-year-old Ottawa man was ticketed Friday morning after his vehicle struck the side of a Wallace School District bus.

Jerry J. Gahan was traveling south on East 14th Road at about 11:45 a.m. Friday before turning east onto North 33rd Road where he failed to see a school bus, striking the side of the bus, the La Salle County Sheriff’s Office said.

No injuries were reported.
