Rural Ottawa man arrested on charge of aggravated battery of a child

A rural Ottawa man was arrested Friday on a La Salle County warrant charging him with aggravated battery to a child.

The La Salle County Sheriff’s Offie made the arrest of Ryan E. Hill, 41, at 2:06 a.m. Friday at his residence.

The charge is a Class 3 felony carrying 2 to 5 years in prison. Bond was set at $40,000.
