SENECA – Any coach would like to see their team knock down the initial shot on every possession, but if that isn’t happening on a consistent basis, the next best thing is seeing their team crash the boards for second opportunities.
That was a case for the Seneca Fighting Irish in Saturday afternoon’s 50-30 Tri-County Conference victory over the Woodland Warriors. Although the hosts shot only 34% from the field, they made up for it with 21 offensive rebounds that resulted in 18 second-chance points.
