Morton College Hosts Annual College Fair on October 26!

The search-and-selection process to find the best college fit can be confusing and overwhelming for many potential students. To facilitate this process, Morton College is hosting its annual College Fair to help students learn about the amazing programs and activities MC has to offer, along with those of several local four-year institutions.

“Our annual College Fair will be held on Tuesday, October 26 from 5 - 7 p.m. on the main campus,” said Diego Aleman, Recruitment Specialist for Morton College. “The event will welcome our current students, along with potential students and the community, to learn about the great opportunities offered by our school and by various four-year institutions, including different majors, programs, and activities. Our hope is to offer a unique experience to those interested in pursuing a four-year degree.”

Morton College has partnerships with various four-year institutions, as many of MC’s graduates plan to continue on to earn a bachelor’s degree. National Louis University, Northeastern Illinois University, University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign), Loyola University (Chicago) and University of Chicago all have a close relationship with Morton College.

“Students who attend our College Fair will receive a more in-depth review of the academic programs that help students set their career path as early as possible,” added Aleman. “Moreover, students will learn about campus resources and student activities to ensure that they are able to seek support, if needed. The overall goal is for students to learn that the college experience can be a seamless one by obtaining these resources and information in advance.”

Over the past several months, Morton College has been working to prepare a safe plan for students’ return. Its response to the Covid-19 pandemic has been focused on the campus community’s health and safety. Masks and physical distancing are in place on campus, even for students and staff who are fully vaccinated.
