St. Francis High School in Wheaton plans open houses

WHEATON – St. Francis High School will host two open houses for prospective students and families, one from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 21, and the second from noon to 3 p.m. Nov. 7.

Tours of the school will be led by student ambassadors, followed by a co-curricular fair.

Families will have the opportunity to meet with teachers and staff, as well as current students and parents, to ask questions and to discover more about the school, a news release stated. Representatives from athletics and co-curricular activities also will be available to provide information about additional programs in which students can participate.

St. Francis High School is a Catholic, college preparatory high school offering 123 full-year and semester courses, including 19 honors and 17 AP courses. In last year’s graduating class, 100% of the students attended college and collectively earned $25 million in scholarships. The class also included one student with a perfect score on the ACT, five National Merit Commended students and 37 Illinois State Scholars.
