IC Catholic Prep names director of alumni relations

ELMHURST – Jenna Goworowski has been selected as the new director of alumni relations and special events at IC Catholic Prep in Elmhurst.

“Jenna’s vast experience in events and her ability to build and foster relationships will be essential in her role,” Nikki Kanzia, president of ICCP, stated in a news release. “A product of Catholic education, Jenna’s attention to detail in event planning is perfectly balanced with her commitment to family experiences. Jenna’s energy, excitement and creativity are wonderful assets to our team.”

Goworowski joins the ICCP team with a background in coordinating and event logistics. She previously served as quality assurance coordinator at the Cary Company and an event coordinator for the Hot Chocolate 15K/5K Race Series. She graduated from Roosevelt University with a bachelor’s degree in hospitality and event management.

“Coming to work at IC was, in a sense, coming back home,” Goworowski stated in the release. “I grew up on this campus with my mom being a teacher here for years, my husband, mother-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law and uncle all attending school here over the past 40 years. My IC blood runs deep. Being able to work with a community of people who are more like family instead of co-workers is truly a blessing. The IC community is growing stronger and stronger each year, and I am very honored to be a part of that.”
