Downers Grove woman faces charges after BB gun displayed near school bus stop: cops

A Downers Grove woman faces multiple charges after allegedly displaying a BB gun Tuesday morning during an argument near a school bus stop, police said.

Clementina L. Miller, 29, of the 6500 block of Woodward Avenue, has been charged with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct, authorities said.

The incident took place at about 7:50 a.m. near a school bus stop in the 2100 block of Prentiss Drive, police said.

Witnesses told police there was an argument between two adults near the bus stop, and one person displayed what appeared to be a handgun.

Police located the person suspected of displaying the weapon. The individual was taken into custody without incident. No shots were fired and no one was injured during the incident.
