Miranda BonDurant hit a three-run walk-off homer, her first career home run, to cap off the Lady Broncos’ win in the first day of the Marengo Tournament. Kora Navarro was dominant in the circle and Brooke Kuczynski scored four runs for Montini.

Wheaton North 11, Geneva 0

Erin Metz and Emmy Atkinson combined on a two-hit shutout and Metz had a double and single at the plate for the Falcons. Ellie Hubbard had a double and single and Lauren Vaughn two singles.

Downers Grove South 7, Willowbrook 3

Brynn Dvoracek went 2-for-4 with a homer, double and three RBIs and Alexandra Meyers also homered for the Mustangs. Caitlyn Kulczyski went 2-for-4 with a run scored and Calli Kenny had two RBIs for Willowbrook.

Oak Park-River Forest 3, Hinsdale South 2

Abbey Lehan gave up just six hits while striking out five, and Skylar Hayes, Nicole Kaleta, Nikki Berger and Megan McGinley all had hits for the Hornets.

Lake Park 3, Wheaton Warrenville South 2

Katey Pierce and Grace Butler hit solo home runs for the Tigers and Maggie Reinert had a double.

BASEBALL

Westmont 14, Kirkland Hiawatha 0

Noah Valentin was 2-for-4 with a double, four RBIs and a run scored, Caleb Kleinz 2-for-4 with two runs scored and winning pitcher Spencer Anton 2-for-3 with a double, two runs scored and three RBIs for Westmont (5-16).

Wheaton Academy 4, Aurora Christian 3

JT Manusos went 3-for-4 with a walk-off single, Alex Valdez went 3-fo-4 with two RBIs and Alex Bagley struck out three over six innings, allowing zero earned runs for the Warriors.

Glenbard West’s Patrick Devereaux (152), Max Konopka (170) and Phillip Dozier (195) won matches by pins.
