BOYS BASKETBALL

Timothy Christian 62, Westmont 44

Ben VanderWal scored 32 points with eight rebounds and six steals to lead the Trojans. Joey Dooley paced Westmont with 23 points.

Lemont 71, Shepard 29

Nojus Indrusaitis poured in 25 points to pace Lemont (5-2, 2-0). Rokas Castillo and Matas Castillo each added 12.

Riverside-Brookfield 82, Ridgewood 35

JP Hanley scored 17 points and Joevonn McCottry 15 to lead the Bulldogs (6-1).

GIRLS BASKETBALL

St. Francis 51, Timothy Christian 30

Halle Rubino came off the bench for the Spartans (6-2, 3-0) to lead the team with 11 points. Dolly Smith contributed 10 and Katie Anne De Craene chipped in nine.

Lyons Township 56, Hinsdale Central 42

Hailey Markworth scored 13 points and Olivia Mezan and Ella Ormsby each added 10 for the Lions (6-1, 1-0 West Suburban Silver).

Glenbard South 43, West Chicago 39

Brittany Miller scored 16 points and Allie Mizwicki and Emily Frieling each added nine for the Raiders (3-4, 2-1).

Willowbrook 77, Leyden 20

Sophie Sullivan had 14 points, five rebounds and four assists, Hannah Kenny 13 points and five assists and Elle Bruschuk 10 points, 10 rebounds and four steals to pace the Warriors.
