Hinsdale Central 28, Glenbard West 7: The Red Devils’ rode a dominant defensive effort, with three sacks and two interceptions, and held the Hilltoppers to 121 total yards in a matchup of West Suburban Silver unbeatens in Hinsdale. Hinsdale Central senior quarterback Michael Brescia passed for 233 yards and a touchdown. He spread the ball around to five different receivers, and ran for 42 yards and two touchdowns.

Wheaton North 34, Geneva 0: Mark Forcucci threw three TD passes, to Kaiden Libby, Seth Kortenhoeven and Riley Dravet, and the Falcons defense forced six Geneva punts and three possessions that resulted in turnover on downs.

Lyons 22, Downers Grove North 3: The Lions’ defense allowed just just four first downs to the Trojans while yielding 49 yards passing and 47 yards rushing, as Lyons won its first home game of the season. Lyons quarterback Joey Antonietti finished 8-of-13 through the air for 105 yards while also rushing for 105 yards on 18 attempts.
St. Rita 34, Benet 20: Nick Bafia scored on a 34-yard TD run, but the Redwings came up short in their first game after three cancellations.
Glenbard South 33, Larkin 20: Cade Hardtke and Trevor Burnett each ran for two TDs, and the Raiders scored three times in the third quarter for an Upstate Eight road win.
Bolingbrook 34, Lemont 7: Bolingbrook took advantage of three Lemont miscues and Jaquan Howard ran for 140 yards on 20 carries for the Raiders.

Wheaton Warrenville South 49, St. Charles East 7: Parker Brown was 13-for-18 for 265 yards and threw a school record 99-yard TD pass to Brandon Bell, who had six catches for 194 yards for the game. Eddie Robinson ran for 38 yards and four TDs, Lance Kottke 86 yards and a TD and Kaleb Klousing six catches for 66 yards and a TD.

Niles Notre Dame 10, Nazareth 0: The Dons held the Roadrunners to 153 yards of total offense, and Nazareth lost junior Tyler Morris to an apparent knee injury in the second half.
