High school football: Week 4 results; recaps for every game

Wheaton Warrenville South 30, Batavia 7: The visiting Tigers forced six turnovers and shut out the Bulldogs until the final minute Friday, handing Batavia its first loss. Danny Healy had an interception and fumble recovery, Parker Brown was 13-of-17 for 137 yards and two touchdowns and Eddie Robinson had 72 yards and two touchdowns. Trey Urwiler threw a 23-yard TD pass to Jack LaCasse for Batavia’s lone score.

St. Charles North 14, Wheaton North 12: Daniel Kowaleski sacked Wheaton North quarterback Mark Forcucci on fourth down with 1:29 left, the North Stars’ fourth defensive stand to preserve the DuKane Conference win in St. Charles over the previously unbeaten Falcons. Jordan Nubin caught a 26-yard TD pass from Michael Priami for St. Charles North. Forcucci threw a 10-yard TD pass for Wheaton North.

St. Francis 58, Riverside-Brookfield 7: Tommy Rittenhouse threw a career-best six touchdown passes, three of them to Tyler Bishop, for the visiting Spartans. Adam Criter, Jackson Gerard and Dashiell Dorsey also had TD catches for St. Francis. Owen Murphy threw a 4-yard TD pass to Luke Swiatek for Riverside-Brookfield.

York 25, Willowbrook 23: Max Assaad threw for 226 yards and a touchdown and Luke Malaga had 15 catches for 118 yards for the host Dukes, who handed the Warriors their first loss in a West Suburban Conference crossover. Josh Brown ran for 295 yards and three TDs for Willowbrook.

Oak Park-River Forest 14, Downers Grove North 7: Ethan Thulin had five catches for 128 yards and a 48-yard TD pass from Sam Reichert for the Trojans, playing for the first time since Week 1 after a two-week pause. Reichert threw for 190 yards.

Wheaton Academy 30, Hinsdale South 0: The host Warriors forced two fumbles, intercepted two passes and held the Hornets to just 16 rushing yards in a game scheduled after both teams’ Week 4 opponents had to cancel. David Dorn threw for 145 yards and a 83-yard touchdown pass to senior Andrew LaPlant.

Marist 13, Nazareth 0: Jamari Grant ran for two touchdowns and Jimmy Rolder intercepted two passes, one in the end zone in the third quarter, for the RedHawks in La Grange Park. Aidan Pieper was 10-for-21 passing for 86 yards with one interception for Nazareth.
