JJC, food bank partner for pop-up market

Will take place Saturday, March 6 in JJC parking lot E3

JOLIET – The Northern Illinois Food Bank will hold a pop-up market on the Joliet Junior College campus Saturday, March 6, continuing a partnership that dates back to last summer.

This is a drive-thru event for students and community members to receive groceries. Anyone in need of food assistance during this uncertain time is welcome to attend. No identification, proof of address or proof of income is required to receive food.

The pop-up markets take place in Parking Lot E3 on JJC’s Main Campus, 1215 Houbolt Road in Joliet. Additional markets are planned every other Saturday through the spring.
