Grundy County provides COVID-19 Feb. 20 vaccine clinic update

State of Illinois did not receive shipment of Moderna vaccine; appointments for Feb. 20 cancelled

MORRIS – The Grundy County Health Department provided information Friday in a press release about the COVID-19 Feb. 20 Vaccine Clinic.

Due to severe weather throughout the country, the State of Illinois did not receive the intended shipment of Moderna vaccine this week.

Appointments scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 20, are cancelled.

Anyone with a Dose 2 appointment will automatically be rescheduled for Saturday, Feb. 27, at the exact same time. There is no need to do anything further. Your appointment time automatically rolls to the new date.

Anyone with a Dose 1 appointment is cancelled, and the Grundy County Health Department office will reach out to reschedule the appointment as vaccine becomes available.

The Health Department staff will be calling each person with an appointment on Feb. 20 and sending this same message via email.
