MORRIS – Despite not being able to practice for more than a week because of COVID-19 protocols, the Morris boys basketball team delivered a strong, balanced performance Wednesday night in what was the Redskins’ Interstate 8 Conference opener.
Behind 21 points from Zack Romak, 20 from Patrick McPherson and 10 from Nathan Jepson, Morris defeated Plano, 68-63, in a game that started slowly but ended with a furious finish from both sides.
