The Genoa Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8387 recently held elections for its 2021-2022 officers.
The new officers are Commander Joe Chavez, Vice Commander Stephen Quinn Jr., Vice Commander Frank Beierlotzer, Quarter Master Gene Bradford, and Trustees Tiffany Becker, Gerald Chartrand and Lonnie Stojan. Appointed as service officer was Frank Beierlotzer.
The next monthly meeting will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 19, at the Genoa Veterans Home, 311 S. Washington St. in Genoa.
The group is in the process of reorganizing, and welcomes any honorably discharged veterans who have served in a war zone during any war.
