DeKALB – A public forum featuring the two candidates for mayor of the City of DeKalb will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. March 6 via Zoom.
Cohen Barnes and Carolyn Morris are the two candidates running for mayor in the April 6 election.
The event is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of DeKalb County, the DeKalb Public Library and Northern Public Radio (WNIJ).
Questions from the public can be submitted in advance to firstname.lastname@example.org before Feb. 25 or during the event itself via the Zoom chat function or the livestream on the WNIJ Facebook page. Questions should address local issues and be directed to both candidates.
Register in advance at dkpl.org. Only 100 people will be able to join the Zoom meeting, so if the meeting is full residents can watch live on the WNIJ Facebook page.
