Neat’s mixologist’s focus is on craft cocktails and beers, plus a phenomenal selection of wine by the bottle and glass you won’t find at the local liquor store. The Manhattan and Neat Old Fashioned are deemed the backbone of the bar program. Cue Wine & Whiskey Wednesday, with half price wine by the glass and $5 Neat pours. I’m a regular indulger of El Machete. Can’t go wrong with a spicy vodka drink in my book – a go-to at Neat’s Happy Hour from 3 to 7 p.m. Fridays.
Beginning in February, Neat expands to Sunday brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a new variety of menu options. Their private dining room also is available for special events.
Partners Verde and Taylor take pride in teaming up with local organizations to give back to the community – supporting one another, becoming stronger together is the philosophy. It hosts paint nights, which give partial proceeds back to local shelters, and offers yoga and pilates classes presented by Westmont businesses in the private room – for one big happy Westmont family.
As Verde enthuses, “They take care of us, we take care of them.”
Neat’s owners believe Westmont is one of the finest communities around, and one they’re proud to be part of. If you stick to none of your resolutions this year besides time well spent, keep Neat and its poutine at the top of your routine.
