Antioch Boy Scout attains Eagle Scout rank

Project that earned honor made improvements at Pedersen Park trail

ANTIOCH – Brian and Diane Baker are proud to announce their son, Jack Everett Paul Baker, of Scouts BSA Troop 92, is Antioch’s newest Eagle Scout.

Jack Baker was awarded the rank, Boy Scouts of America’s highest award, Jan. 8 at a ceremony at Antioch Moose Lodge 525, the sponsoring organization of the troop.

He also received a Bronze, Gold and Silver Eagle Palm for additional merit badges earned.

His Eagle project was to improve Pedersen Park in Antioch by enlarging and mulching the trail, building and installing five park benches and three wood duck houses. The Scouts also repaired two older wood duck houses and did a trash pickup.
