New Year shapes up with great events at Lake County Fairgrounds

January kicks off with Northern Illinois Sports Show from Jan. 13 to Jan. 16

GRAYSLAKE – Happy New Year from the Lake County Fairgrounds, 1060 E. Peterson Road in Grayslake, where exciting events are on the calendar in 2022.

January kicks off with the Northern Illinois Sports Show, presented by Outdoor Sports Group LLC, from Jan. 13-16. Weekday shows are from noon to 8 p.m. Weekend times are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. For information, visit https://www.ilsportsshow.com/.

February is action-packed with the Cool Cluster Dog Show from Little Fort Kennel Club from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 9-13. Details are at https://windycitycluster.com/.

The Lake County Fair Association brings back the Lake County Craft Beer Festival, with general admission from 5 to 9 p.m. Feb. 26. VIP times are from 4 to 5 p.m. The event will feature local, regional and national breweries, distilleries and wineries sampling specialty and seasonal beers, plus music, games and entertainment.
