Genesee Theatre to reopen for live events

Brit Floyd, The Happy Together Tour 2021 to be among acts taking stage

WAUKEGAN – After closing its doors nearly 17 months ago because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Genesee Theatre will reopen the first week of August.

Brit Floyd, billed as the world’s greatest Pink Floyd tribute, will perform at 8 p.m. Aug. 5.

Bumping Mics with Jeff Ross and Dave Attell will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 6. The show is for mature audiences only.

The Happy Together Tour 2021, featuring the Turtles, Gary Puckett & The Union Gap, the Association, the Classics IV, the Buckinghams, the Cowsills and the Vogues, will take place at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 7.
