GURNEE – State Rep. Joyce Mason, D-Gurnee, invites residents to join her for virtual coffee via Zoom at 10 a.m. June 12 to discuss legislative issues and ideas.
“Although our regular spring session has just wrapped up, it’s important that I’m continuing to proactively seek out feedback from residents in my district,” Mason said in a news release. “I have a responsibility to fight for them and make their voices heard. To ensure I’m doing that to the best of my ability, I make sure to create ample opportunities for constituents to drop in and express their concerns to me year-round.”
Mason regularly hosts coffees, town hall meetings and issue-related advisory councils to ensure constituents have accessible opportunities to share feedback with her.

“I’m hosting this coffee because I want to give people a convenient opportunity to meet with me to discuss concerns about state or local issues that they’ve had on their minds,” Mason said. “I look forward to meeting with residents [June 12] to talk about problems facing our community and working together to come up with effective solutions to those issues as well.”
