Kylie Fecht, 29, of Ingleside was charged with attempted first-degree murder and her former husband, Ryan Fecht, 29, also of Ingleside, was charged with misdemeanor battery, police said.

The charges are a result of an altercation that occurred about 5:55 p.m. Dec. 3 at a home in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue in Ingleside. The victim, a 32-year-old Round Lake Beach man, who had been in a dating relationship with Kylie Fecht, had arrived to pick up his personal belongings, police said.

A fight broke out between the victim and Ryan Fecht. During the fight, Kylie Fecht, who was armed with a knife, joined the fight and stabbed the victim twice, police said.

The victim fled the scene and took himself to Vista Medical Center in Lindenhurst. He later was transferred to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville for treatment of his stab wounds. His injuries are serious but not considered life-threatening, police said.

Early Dec. 4, arrest warrants were issued for Kylie and Ryan Fecht, as well as a search warrant for the home on Lincoln Avenue.
