Affectionate older cat looks for home all to herself

GRAYSLAKE – Miles says, “After the very short time I needed to adjust to a new routine and environment, my family said I was very affectionate and loving. I can be active and playful, but I’m also happy relaxing and getting loved and brushed. I sometimes hang out in the kitchen, swatting at the water from the faucet during cleaning time. If you are looking for a friendly and gentle cat and only want to live with one cat, then I think I may be your perfect cat.”

Miles, who is female, is about 11 years old, spayed, up to date on shots (including rabies), tested negative for feline leukemia, FIV and heartworm and microchipped.

As we gear up toward the end of another year, some of Save-A-Pet’s cats and dogs, including Miles, are part of the “Home for The Holidays” promotion, so her adoption fee is 50% off if adopted by Dec. 31.

While walk-ins are welcome, adoptions are by appointments only to ensure staff members are available to help adopters.
