Letter: Committed to Kendall Township

To the Editor:

To all Kendall Township residents: I wanted to reach out and thank you all for your support during the campaign and for voting for me for your Kendall Township clerk. The exercising of our constitutional right to vote is critical to a democratic form of government, and I remain committed to working for all Kendall Township residents to continue to evolve the clerk’s position to provide you the necessary information and services you deserve.

A couple of my goals are to incorporate FAQs and other documents important to residents of Kendall Township into a website so you can find information easier and in a timelier fashion. I have already started researching on the “how and where” since the election.

I would be remiss if I did not thank retiring Clerk Dave Matlock for both his guidance and support during this transition, and I know I speak for everyone in the township in thanking him for his long-standing commitment of time and effort for the years of service he provided to the township for these many years.

Dave, now you have your third Tuesdays of the month open for what you want to do.
