Letter: Bring honesty and integrity back

keyboard, letter to the editor

To the Editor:

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Paul Scholtes, and I am running for the office of supervisor of Seward Township.

I have been married for 43 years, and am a proud father and grandfather.

I am a 36-year resident of Kendall County and have served on many boards and organizations. I served 25 years on the Lisbon-Seward Fire Protection District Company 2, seven years as president. I served on the Kendall County Regional Planning Commission, the Kendall County Zoning Board of Appeals and my local school board, Minooka District 201, during the construction of a new junior high building.

I have attended meetings at Seward Township for a few years and feel that changes need to be made throughout the elected positions. Along with myself, we have an excellent slate of candidates to bring honesty and integrity back to Seward Township. I also have two very important traits that I bring to the table: common sense and a knowledge of right from wrong.

I need your vote on April 6.

Paul Scholtes
