Aggravated assault arrest

Oswego police arrested Dmonte Carl Johnson, 26, of the 1900 block of South Averell Avenue, Flint, Michigan, at 2:55 a.m. Jan. 24 at a residence in the 500 block of Lakeview Drive, Oswego, on a charge of aggravated assault. Police said Johnson allegedly pointed a firearm at another individual. Police said Johnson posted bond and was released pending a Feb. 16 court appearance.

Vehicles burglarized on Templeton Drive

Oswego police took two reports of burglaries to motor vehicles that occurred about 8 a.m. Jan. 20 in the 90th block of Templeton Drive. Police said one of the vehicles had been left unlocked, while the other had a window broken.

DUI arrest on Route 30

Oswego police arrested Janet Sanchez, 31, of the 700 block of Spring Street, Aurora, after stopping the vehicle she was driving at 11:20 p.m. Jan. 21 on Route 30 at Lincoln Station Drive. Police said Sanchez was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and ticketed for speeding. She posted bond pending a Feb. 28 court appearance.

Hit-and-run report taken

Oswego police took a hit-and-run crash report at 12:48 p.m. Jan. 23 on Douglas and Fernwood roads. Police said an unknown vehicle hit a median sign and left the scene.

License violation

Oswego police ticketed Nicholas A. El-Hamarnah, 20, of the 2100 block of Sienna Drive, Joliet, after stopping the vehicle he was driving at 6:49 p.m. Jan. 18 on Washington and Tyler streets. Police said El-Hamarnah was cited for driving without a license.

Driving while license revoked

Oswego police ticketed Mark A. Schwartz, 59, of the 1400 block of Church Road, Aurora, for driving on a revoked license after stopping his vehicle at 10:15 p.m. Jan. 18 on Route 30 at Proclamation Drive.

Parking lot hit-and-run

Oswego police took a report of a hit-and-run crash that occurred at 7:04 p.m. Jan. 23 in a parking lot in the 1600 block of Douglas Road. An SUV owned by an Aurora resident was struck and damaged by another vehicle that left the scene, police said.
