Battery reported at restaurant

Oswego police are investigating a report of a battery that occurred at 8:23 p.m. Jan. 13 at a restaurant in the 1500 block of Douglas Road in the village. Police said the incident involved a 33-year-old Aurora man and a 21-year-old Oswego man. No injuries were reported in the incident.

Traffic stop nets arrest

Oswego police arrested Jesus C. Garcia, 20, of the 2100 block of Muirfield Court, Yorkville, after stopping the vehicle he was driving at 10:11 a.m. Jan. 13 on Route 71 at Liberty Court. Police said Garcia was ticketed for driving on a revoked license and speeding. He was transported to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville pending a court appearance.

Two citations issued

Oswego police ticketed Telem E. Johnson, 24, of the 2800 block of Imperial Valley Trail, Aurora, at 8:53 p.m. Jan. 11 after stopping the vehicle he was driving on Route 71 at Franklin Street. Police said Johnson was cited for driving without a valid license and expired registration.

DUI arrest

Oswego police arrested Mark D. Klausner, 50, of the 100 block of Elm Drive, New Lenox, after stopping the vehicle he was driving at 12:56 a.m. Jan. 16 in the 4500 block of Route 71. Police said Klausner was charged with driving under the influence. He later posted bond and was released pending court proceedings.

Cited for 35 mph over posted limit

Oswego police ticketed Nicholas J. Srp, 26, of the 1900 block of Maple Glen Drive, Plainfield, with speeding 35 mph over the posted speed limit after they stopped his vehicle at 11:26 p.m. Jan. 12 on Orchard Road at Mill Road. Police said Srp was given a Feb. 1 court date.

Cited for speeding on Orchard Road

Oswego police ticketed Damian Rodriguez, 33, of the 500 block of Woodlawn Avenue, Aurora, for speeding between 26 and 35 mph over the posted speed limit at 8:31 p.m. Jan. 12 on Orchard Road at Galena Road. Police said Rodriguez was given a Feb. 1 court date.

Aggravated speeding on Route 30

Oswego police ticketed Erick L. Gualim, 22, of the 500 block of Broadway Avenue, Aurora, with aggravated speeding, traveling in excess of 26 mph over the posted speed limit, after stopping the vehicle he was driving at 1:18 p.m. Jan. 18 on Route 30 at Treasure Drive. Police said Gualim was given a Feb. 1 court date on the ticket.
