DUI among charges

Oswego police arrested Eduardo Morales, 23, of the 500 block of Springbrook Trail South, Oswego, at 3:29 p.m. Oct. 4 on Fernwood and Douglas roads on charges of driving under the influence, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Police said the Morales was transported to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.

Nonhighway vehicle ticket

Oswego police ticketed a juvenile from Montgomery at 9:10 p.m. Oct. 4 for operating a nonhighway vehicle on a street and driving without a valid license. Police said the juvenile was operating the vehicle at 7:40 p.m. July 16 at Washington and Harrison streets. Police said the suspect was given a date to appear in court.

Domestic battery among charges

Oswego police arrested Joshua M. Colby, 30, of the 400 block of Reagan Drive at 7:04 p.m. Oct. 2 at his residence on charges of domestic battery and criminal damage to property. Police said Colby was transported to the County Jail pending court proceedings.

Fitness center theft under investigation

Oswego police are investigating a theft from a locker at a fitness center in the 200 block of Ogden Falls Boulevard. Police said the theft occurred between 4 and 6 p.m. Oct. 1. Property valued at $505 was taken.

Domestic battery arrest

Oswego police arrested Mitchell T. Deland, 23, no address, at 10:40 p.m. in the 2500 block of Route 30 on a warrant for domestic battery and criminal damage to property. Police said Deland was transported to the County Jail pending court proceedings.

Downers Grove man injured in crash

A 30-year-old Downer Grove man was injured and transported to Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora after the car he was driving was involved in a crash with a truck at 7:10 p.m. Sept. 30 on Woolley Road at Colchester Drive. Police said the man’s injuries were possibly serious. The driver of the truck, a 61-year-old Minooka man, was not hurt, according to police.

Driving on revoked license

Oswego police arrested Geovani O. Perez, 36, of the 200 block of North Eola Road, Aurora, on a charge of driving on a revoked license. Police said Perez is scheduled to appear in court on the charges Oct. 25.

Investigate criminal damage to vehicle

Oswego police investigated a report of criminal damage to a vehicle at 8 p.m. Sept. 30 in the 200 block of South Madison Street. Police said damage to the vehicle was estimated at $100.

Station Drive arrest

Oswego police arrested Christopher C. Sudlow, 36, of the 600 block of Lincoln Station Drive, Oswego, at his residence at 4:13 a.m. Oct. 1 on charges of domestic battery and criminal damage to property. Police said Sudlow was transported to the County Jail pending court proceedings.

Property damage reported

Oswego police took a report of criminal damage to property at 11:30 a.m. Sept. 30 in the 2600 block of Route 34. Police said damage was estimated at $400.
