DUI among charges after crash

Oswego police arrested Jose L. Perez, 53, of the 300 block of Pine Avenue, Aurora, after the vehicle he was driving was involved in a single vehicle crash at 11:21 p.m. Sept. 24 on Forest Avenue at Prairieview Drive. Police said Perez was cited for improper lane use, reckless driving and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Perez also was charged with driving under the influence. The suspect later posted bond and was released pending an Oct. 20 court appearance.

Sexual assault report

Oswego police took a report of a criminal sexual assault that occurred in 2015 in the 500 block of Waubonsie Drive in the village. Police said the victim told them the assault occurred when the victim was a juvenile.

Driver ticketed in Route 30 crash

Oswego police ticketed Renee Guzman, 44, of the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive, Bolingbrook, for driving without a valid license and improper lane use after a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 9:27 a.m. Sept. 27 in the 1800 block of Route 30. No one was hurt in crash.

Juveniles found with cannabis

Oswego police took a report of two juveniles who were found in possession of cannabis at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 27 at Oswego East High School.

Hit-and-run crash report

Oswego police took a report of a hit-and-run crash that occurred at 8:40 p.m. Sept. 25 on Plainfield Road at Grove Road. Police said damage to the victim’s vehicle exceeded $500.

Order of protection

Oswego police are investigating a report of a violation of an order of protection that occurred at 5:07 a.m. Sept. 25 in the 400 block of Ogden Falls Boulevard.

Harassment reported

Oswego police took a report of harassment by electronic communication at 9:35 p.m. Sept. 26 from a resident of South Adams Street. Police said they are investigating.

Protection order violation reported

Oswego police took a report of violation of an order of protection at 5:49 p.m. Sept. 24 on South Adams Street.

Damage to property reported

Oswego police took a report of criminal damage to property at 6:36 p.m. Sept. 26 in the 100 block of Eisenhower Drive. Damage was estimated at $295.

Police respond to four-vehicle crash

Oswego police responded to a four-vehicle crash that occurred at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 25 on Route 34 at Pearce’s Ford Drive. Police said no one was injured in the crash and none of the vehicles were towed from the scene.
