DUI
Yorkville police arrested Victor M. Brito Arroyo, 46, of the 500 block of Ashland Avenue, Aurora, on charges of failure to reduce speed, driving without insurance, illegal transportation of alcohol and driving under the influence after responding to a traffic accident at 7 p.m. Sept. 4 in the area of West Veterans and Center parkways. Brito Arroyo was taken into custody and later released after posting bond.
Speeding
Yorkville police arrested Joiya M. Bryant, 26, of the 2000 block of Leverenz Road, Naperville, on a charge of speeding 85 mph in a 45 mph zone after conducting a traffic stop at 11:59 a.m. Sept. 9 in the area of Route 34 and Autumn Creek Boulevard. Bryant was released on signature at the scene.
Failure to yield
Yorkville police cited a juvenile driver for failure to yield after responding to a traffic accident at 9:46 p.m. Sept. 10 in the area of Route 47 and Corneils Road. No injuries were reported.
