Airline miles stolen

An Oswego resident told village police Jan. 4 that someone had hacked into her American Airlines account and stole all of her airline miles. Police said the theft occurred between July and December of last year.

Take hit and run crash report

Oswego police took a report of a hit and run crash that occurred at 9:51 p.m. Jan. 3 on Route 34 at Orchard Road. Police described the offending vehicle as a pick-up truck with a snow plow. Damage to the victim’s vehicle was estimated in excess of $1,500, according to police.

DUI arrest

Oswego police arrested Christian A. Sanchez, 19, of the 400 block of North Union Street, Aurora, after stopping the vehicle he was driving at 12:36 a.m. Jan. 1 on Orchard Avenue near Sherwood Circle. Police said Sanchez was charged with driving under the influence and consumption of alcohol by a minor. The suspect posted bond and was released pending court proceedings.

Take battery report

Oswego police are investigating a report of a domestic battery that officers were told took place at 6:39 p.m. Dec. 31 in the 400 block of Bower Lane. No injuries were reported in the incident, police said.

DUI arrest

Oswego police arrested Kristina M. Rembold, 55, of the 100 block of Amherst Circle, Oswego, after stopping her vehicle at 9:02 p.m. Dec. 30 in the 400 block of Chicago Road. Police said Rembold was charged with driving under the influence. She posted bond and was released pending a court appearance.

ID theft reported

A resident of the 700 block of Ferret Crossing, Oswego, told village police Dec. 31 that someone had opened a bank account in her name on Dec. 23. Police said they are investigating.

Domestic battery arrest

Oswego police arrested James L. Drink, Jr. 49, of the 70 block of Spires Drive, Oswego, at 1: 22 a.m. Jan. 1 at his residence on charges of domestic battery and interfering with the reporting of domestic violence. Police said Drink was transported to the County Jail pending court proceedings.
