The Yorkville Public Library is excited for Teen-Tober. There are several activities planned just for the teens.

Button Making: Monday, Oct. 18 – Friday, Oct. 22. Stop by the library anytime during the week to design and make your very own, unique button. All materials are provided.

Young Adult Book Club: Tuesday, Oct. 26, 3 to 4 p.m. Stop at the Youth Service desk to pick up your copy of this month’s book “We Are Okay” by Nina LaCour. Read the book at your own pace, then come to the book discussion on Tuesday, Oct 26.

Pumpkin Craft: Thursday, Oct. 28, 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Stop by anytime between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 28 to decorate a mini pumpkin to take home. We are using permanent markers and Zentangle designs.

Harry Potter Book Club: Thursday, Oct. 28, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Hey Muggles! Join us to discuss the book, “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” by J.K. Rowling. This will be the first of multiple book discussions, eventually ending in a magical event.
