Sheriff’s deputies arrest Oswego Township man on aggravated assault charge

Kendall County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Ricardo Ponce, 33, of the 100 block of Harbor Drive, Oswego Township, at 10:24 a.m. Sept. 6 at his residence on a charge of aggravated assault.

In a statement, the sheriff’s office said deputies respond to the suspect’s residence on a report of a man with a firearm threatening a neighbor.

Following an investigation, deputies took Ponce into custody and he was charged with aggravated assault. He was transported to the County Jail in Yorkville where he was later released after posting bond, according to sheriff’s office data.
